Bloody stool? - bloody stool more condition_symptoms

I recently had a bloody stool. I plan to go to my doctor, but before I do I wondered what that might mean.

What is the color of blood? Is it dark or light? It is mixed with the stool or just outside the chair?

When it is dark, the color purple, which could be very serious. If it can be bright red, an ulcer or something serious.

Without knowing all the details I can not say much. I had made more of a colonoscopy and I still have questions about what they want to say certain things.

Of course, we all can do here in the S / A, offer our opinions. The thing to do, go to your doctor and get a colonoscopy performed.

We need it (one gallons of liquid unpleasant - eight ounces every fifteen minutes). Prepared for several trips to the bathroom.

The next day, for the process. You may rest assured that you are someone who does not even have to go home.

Then when they see something, they give their diagnosis (after I), all test results.

If bright red blood can be a sign of irritation and inflammation of the intestine. Darkest blood, indicating that the blood traveled from his small intestine.
Could be a number of things from piles of ulcerative colitis. (Small blisters / ulcers in the lining of the intestine, so ... just with anti-inflammatory treatment.)
Good luck!

damn well do you understand by bright red blood or your stool is black? polyps in the colon could be red or just a hemmor. black stools means you bleeding from the stomach, possibly an ulcer.

Could be many things, depending on the size and nature of the blood. It could be as simple as hemmorhoid or bleeding polyp .. something as complex as ulcerative colitis or infection.

It's better than your doctor to diagnose this problem. It's great that you have had that look.
